A brief description about myself. I was born in the grocery and retail business, one of my grandfathers owned his own grocery store in Los Lunas,the other worked for John Brooks for about 40 years. My first and only job was working for John Brooks. I started as a sack boy or courtsey clerk at the age of 14 on a workers permit, at the age of 18 I was a grocery manager, and eventually at about 20 years of age until about 2005 was a produce manager. In February of 2004 I started a small wholesale company while still working full time for John Brooks , we started originally with locally grown hothouse/greenhouse tomatoes. Our company consisted of me and my father we would go door to door and peddle tomatoes we established ourselves well with some very good company's that gave us a shot and helped us grow such as Raley's , Whole Foods , La Montanita Coop, Flying Star , and various others. We eventually expanded into full line organic and conventional produce distributors. In January of 2008 I decided to give my experience a chance at developing my own small retail location, similar to the bigger retail stores we currently serviced. It has given us an opportunity to establish ourselves with customers on a one to one basis and build a good strong foundation the same way we have done for years on the wholesale end.
